Job description for Curriculum Developer (Secondary Literature) at Erudite Education Academy
Developer (Literature):
Using a lesson plan based on Erudite Education Academy’s in-house methods for teaching, the Developer will create teacher and student guides, as well as resource packs (if any). In doing so, the Developer will have to do the following:
- Set up meetings to collaborate with the Designer to understand how they intend for learning materials to look like
- Create student and teacher guides based on a design (complete with teaching instructions as well as lesson content) by the designer
- Create or source for images that are free of copyright and intellectual property infringement to be used in learning and teaching materials
- Collaborate with project leaders to commission the creation of illustrations where necessary
All the above is to be done in accordance with the Academy’s provided worksheet design elements (format, fonts, colours, etc).
Please note that there will be an initial meeting to familiarise you with the in-house teaching methods.
The developer is responsible for the following deliverables for every assigned lesson:
- MS Word Document and PDF copies of Student’s Notes
- PDF copies of Teacher’s Notes
