Job description
Role Purpose:
A critical member of Cove’s founding Indonesia management team, the Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for building the Sales and Marketing function from the ground up and will have full accountability for delivering against the country’s revenue, profitability and tenant satisfaction objectives.

Goals/Deliverables:
  • Build, manage and continue to develop the sales and marketing teams
  • Create and deploy the Cove Indonesia sales and marketing strategy
  • Ensure occupancy, revenue and profitability targets are consistently met
  • Manage the sales and marketing media, non-working and overheads budgets
  • Ensure stellar tenant experience from viewings, to move in and living
  • Implement best in class data tracking and reporting of sales and marketing key data

Core Responsibilities:
  • Day to day management of the sales and marketing teams
  • Ensuring we deliver the requisite number of room bookings set out in business targets
  • Leading the development and execution across all marketing channels including digital/performance marketing, offline marketing and events, third party listing platforms, partnerships, PR (corporate and consumer)
  • Focus on continuous improvement across all channels to optimize effectiveness and ROI
  • Partnering with the head office team to deliver a great online presence including Cove’s website and owned social media channels
  • Coordinating with the property acquisition and operations teams to ensure we are delivering a stellar customer experience from the design and furnishing of our properties to our SOPs for tenant check-in and management
  • Ensure that we development of best in class reporting dashboards and deliver regular performance reports to management and the board

Requirements:
  • University graduate from a reputable university, Master’s degree is a plus but not a must
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Has managed a team of at least 4 direct reports
  • Has had previous P&L accountability
  • Experienced with strategy development
  • Has strong technical marketing or sales skills including at least two of digital marketing, advertising, brand building, portfolio management, business development, B2C sales
  • Experience working in a high growth business is preferred
  • Experience/knowledge of hospitality/real estate in Indonesia is a bonus
