Role Description:
We are seeking two motivated and resourceful professionals to join us as Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager in the logistics industry. This is a full-time, hybrid position, with one role based in Malaysia (Johor Bahru / Kuala Lumpur). The ideal candidates are proactive and commercially driven individuals with a strong track record in new business development. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, acquiring new customers, and building long-term partnerships, with a primary focus on freight services. Success in this role requires strong market awareness, relationship-building skills, and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Qualifications:
•Minimum Diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
•2–3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within logistics or freight forwarding.
•Strong hunter mindset with a proven track record of acquiring new customers and achieving sales targets.
•Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
•Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven approach.
•Familiarity with international shipping regulations and freight forwarding practices is an advantage.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics or CRM systems is a plus.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
