The Opportunity
What You Will Learn
- Market research techniques
- Effective interview management (Experts, Users)
- Project scoping and planning
- Data analysis and fundamental modeling (where required)
- Effective slide writing and synthesis
- Effective communications
- Industry knowledge depending on the project scope
- Co-developing market research and synthesis plan based on client requirements (typically led by Principal Consultant)
- Conducting market research independently, documenting and synthesizing key findings for internal discussions
- Source for interviews and industry perspectives
- Developing slide decks, excel modeling (minor) where necessary
- Organizing and leading project meeting cadences, including weekly planning, daily stand-ups and content reviews
- Maintaining digital assets and repository for project hygiene
- Supporting ad-hoc business development efforts and process guidelines as Node16 is still a relatively young firm
Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of business and key metrics, where you either have a related degree/diploma or a personal interest
- Comfortable with fast-paced changes, uncertainties & challenges as associated with a startup environment
- We are a remote, distributed team - with team members across the world (e.g. Asia, US). We don't count the hours but make an effort to plan weekly outcomes, deconstruct the likely effort needed to achieve that, and work accordingly. We won't abuse your WLB
- Adaptable and comfortable with iteration: You will be working with seasoned consultants that are keen to teach but it may result in more iterations of your work
- Ideally, you are a penultimate or final year university graduate that is looking for a high-learning internship to prepare for a foray into management consulting, VC, or crypto-related fields. Candidates with at least 1 internship experience are also eligible
- Experience or interest in cryptocurrency or Web 3 advantageous
- Candidates must be able to commit to a 5-6 month timeframe at 5 days per week (although lower days per week can be negotiated) We are currently hiring for the Jan-Jun cycle
- Open to candidates across Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, China)
