Job Description :
- Manage overall banquet operations for large-scale events and functions.
- Handle various events including corporate events, weddings, conferences, gala dinners, exhibitions, VIP events, and international events.
- Ensure smooth event execution and high service standards throughout all banquet operations.
- Coordinate with internal departments including kitchen, service, housekeeping, engineering, security, and event organizers.
- Act as the main PIC during event operations and ensure all client requirements are fulfilled.
- Supervise banquet staff, scheduling, briefing, and operational performance.
- Monitor event setup, rundown, manpower allocation, and operational readiness.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients regarding event requirements and last-minute changes.
- Resolve operational issues and guest complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and service quality standards are consistently maintained.
- Prepare operational reports and post-event evaluations.
Qualifications :
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Banquet Operations or Event Management, preferably in large scale events.
- Proven experience handling high-capacity banquet events and VIP functions.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem solving abilities.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on event requirements.
- Professional appearance and positive working attitude.
