We are hiring a web software engineer who is interested in healthcare. You will play a key role in maintaining and developing our backend server and applications and supporting IT systems that will be used by physicians and patients. The ideal candidate has completed projects in web application development in NodeJS and Angular, performed usability testing, and reiterated product based on client feedback to increase usability.
• Plan, develop, test and release new features/APIs on the backend application and web apps as per business needs
• Maintain integrity and safety of patient data
• Monitor the performance of the live server and continuously improve on the experience level
• Manage CI/CD pipelines to build, release and deploy code on AWS
• Research on evolving threats on web platforms and build mitigations to protect against them
• Respond to situational emergencies in production environment and support resolution of issues Experience required
• Successful completion of self-managed projects using NodeJS and Angular
• Interest in healthcare/science-related industries
• Experience working in a collaborative environment with a 2-4 person team
• Experience in start-up environment (preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience (preferred)
Technical Skills (preferred)
• NodeJS – ExpressJS, Angular, MongoDB – Mongoose, MySQL – Sequelize, AWS
• Full proficiency with Git
• Strong UI/UX design exposure and experience in making apps work intuitively
• Working knowledge of architectural approaches - design, caching, data storage, security etc
Minimum education qualification:
• S1/Undergraduate minimum: in computer science, IT
In one year, you’ll be working on at least one large client project, reiterate on features and user journeys on our web application, and impact thousands of lives. A team of engineers will be working closely with you.
