Job description
We are starting a tech arm of our business that will deal with social e-commerce and live streaming. We are moving in the midst of creating a SaaS product that will be made available to the 200+ clients in our company.
Our company has core competency in social media and social selling strategies. We are one out of the 3 companies that are involved in the E-commerce Booster Package(Digital Marketing Programme) rolled out by Enterprise Singapore to help retailers across Singapore to sell online.
Some of the results we have gotten for clients are that we have sold 250kg of durian in 1 hour, multiple Rolexes and $16,000 worth of home entertainment systems in 1 live stream.
We have a client base that has a specific problem that needs solving. Therefore we are creating a SaaS product to fulfil the market demand that our clients require.
We believe that the social e-commerce market is just beginning, year on year it has grown 100%+.
At this moment we are well positioned to capture the market as we are the only Singaporean marketing technology company to be doing 2-3 live stream a day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with frontend engineers to integrate clean, maintainable, flexible APIs
- Innovate on product feature together with Product Manager and the management team
- Develop efficient, reusable, well-designed and high-quality backend API
- Design and maintain appropriate DB schemas for efficient operations
- Building reusable components and internal libraries
- Ensure applications are fully optimized for performance
- Future development pathway include payments, live stream integration, MarTech
Requirements:
- Experience building production level, modern web apps
- Good understanding of the front and back-end web development process, including design, development and deployment of the product.
- Experience in managing, optimising and scaling backend systems
- Strong knowledge and experience of NodeJS/Express, Javascript, Python
- Experience designing, implementing and testing scalable REST APIs
- Experience with storage and database systems, ie. MongoDB
- Experience with cloud server infrastructure, such as AWS, GCP or MS Azure
- Ideally, experienced in DevOps, CI/CD tools
- Well-versed in writing technical documentation
