Job description for Back End Developer (Talent Pool) at Printerous
- Be involved and participate in the overall application life-cycle
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic
- Define and communicate technical and design requirements
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Help support operation of services in production (before
- the application is deployed)
- Provide documentation to help and support other team members
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Mentoring Junior Back-end Developer
- Minimum 2 - 3 years working experience as Back-end Developer
- Experienced with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Experienced with application development using any MVC Framework (LARAVEL, Ruby on Rails)
- Mastery in LARAVEL is a huge advantage
- Ability to write correct and clean code
- Ability to design databases and optimize queries
- Good knowledge of modern programming paradigms
- Good knowledge of design patterns
- Good knowledge of code repository workflow
- Good knowledge of popular web-frameworks
- Proficient on relevant programming languages
- Proficient on people relation
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
- Ability to collaborate well with the rest of the team
- Ability to adapt to our programming standard in writing code
- Good understanding of Printerous server & system architecture
