Job Description
You will be responsible for portfolio of clients and special assignment to ensure that an organisation’s tax strategy complies with the tax laws through a system of controls, to minimise audit risks, optimise reporting procedures and drive the successful function of the tax department.
Responsibilities:
· Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations in a timely manner, and ensure all filing deadlines are met.
· Responsible for Financial statements preparation and XBRL filing.
· Preparation of Corporate Tax related submissions.
· Providing advisory for GST registration and deregistration service
· Support the seniors in completing tax and financial statements related engagements
· Communicate and liaise with broad range of clients
· Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
· Maintaining confidentiality on all client’s information
· Attending to tax queries from clients and tax authorities
· Mitigate any risks associated with tax
· Monitor developments in tax legislation and keep updated on potential changes affecting clients.
· Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
· Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy, Taxation or equivalent
· At least 2 years of working experience in the related field and familiar with Singapore and Malaysia Tax regulation and statutory requirements
· Required Skill(s): Quickbook, Quickbook Online, Quickbook Desktop, Accounting, CCH, Reporting
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Continuous improvement mindset and pleasant personality; systematic, process driven and focused on delivery of quality and timely work output
· Able to work independently as well as a team player
