Job description for AI Engineer at SotaTek
We are planning to develop the following three components:
- A conversational Generative AI that interacts with users.
- A background AI that processes and organizes data into a format easy for the front-end AI to analyze, and registers it in the database.
- An expert AI that analyzes data to enable the front-end AI to provide appropriate responses (if one already exists, we will simply integrate it).
Requirements:
- Technical foundation: 1-3 years experience with Python programming and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face)
- AI knowledge: Practical understanding of machine learning concepts, neural networks, and model training pipelines
- Data skills: Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
- Experience with building RESTful APIs and working with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Problem-solving aptitude: Ability to approach complex problems methodically and develop creative solutions
- Continuous learning mindset: Enthusiasm for staying current with AI research and implementing new techniques
- Version control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong English skills: Ability to understand technical documentation and communicate within the team
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LLMs, RAG architecture, or fine-tuning foundation models
- Familiarity with vector databases and embedding techniques
- Understanding of MLOps and model deployment pipelines
- Background in computer vision, natural language processing, or generative AI
- Experience with cloud AI services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
