Job description for 3D Artist at Playground., Ltd
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Art Lead and the team to create visually interesting and memorable characters for our Blockchain projects
- Maintain quality, efficiency and consistency of your artworks
- Participate in brainstorming and creating 3D Character Art
- Produce high quality Character 3D concept, model, texture and rendering
Requirements:
- 1-2 years working experience in the Game/VFX industry.
- Exceptional knowledge of the asset creation process (block-in, high and low poly, multi part baking, PBR texturing, etc)
- Highly experienced and proficient with 3D Studio MAX or Maya, Zbrush, Blender and Substance
- Superb 3D modeling and texturing skills with both organics & hard-surface
- Strong knowledge and understanding of human anatomy, proportions, mechanics, characterisation & archetypes
- A great team player, able to communicate, learn from and to teach
- Excellent communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
- Bachelor or higher degree in art/design
- Strong art and design foundation, such as sculpture, conceptual design and illustration including lighting or color keys
- Knowledge of rigging, animation and lighting 3D setups
- Interest in games and game design beyond art
