Job description for Sales Engineer at PT Southern Indonesia
As a Sales Engineer, you will responsible for sales of products/systems/services in the water supply market in accordance with strategy. Achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets in a profitable way : order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
Reporting to Sales Manager, you will building long term customer relationship and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identifying and developing sales opportunities.
This position is based in Jakarta or Surabaya, Indonesia.
Job Description
- Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for water supply market.
- Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/service offering, and align to provide a solution.
- Performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
- Creating added value for the customer and PT SOUTHERN INDONESIA and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
- Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
- Managing administrative procedures in sales processes, and supports collection and project management activities when needed.
- Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager.
Requirements
- University graduated major in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Has experience in Sales/Marketing.
- Preferable experienced dealing with Water Services/Construction/Industrial.
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Language skill : Fluent in English, Mandarin (is a plus).
