Job Responsibilities:          

Strategic     

• Formulation of regional growth strategies
• New business development 
• Planning and driving initiatives to enhance governance and platform capabilities
• Leading and executing regional projects

Financial

• To ensure the Bank’s stable and sustainable operations through budget management with regard to systems and facilities in APAC branches

People

• Contribute to the engagement & cooperation with POA member and all stakeholders
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with Japanese-speaking stakeholders to ensure alignment and mutual understanding of regional objectives

Other/ Control

• Adherence to Laws and Rules

Job Requirements:

• Minimum JLPT N1 Certification (or equivalent business-level Japanese proficiency) to communicate effectively with stakeholders of various divisions in Tokyo Head Office, as the role requires interaction with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
• Minimum 7 years experience in the banking industry, including at least 5 years in corporate banking and/or strategic business planning.
• Minimum Bachelor Degree qualified
• In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements in APAC
• Proven track record in new business development and regional project leadership
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and ensure stable, sustainable operations of banking systems and facilities
• Results-oriented, with a track record of leading and executing regional projects to successful completion
• Strong organizational and project management skills
