We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Supervisor to lead our Fitting and Welding department in a metal fabrication workshop. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in fabrication works and a proven track record in team leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of fitters, welders, and supporting staff.

·        Oversee all fitting and welding activities involving structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.

·        Review technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure all fabricated items meet quality and dimensional requirements.

·        Plan and allocate daily work assignments, monitor progress, and adjust schedules as needed to meet project timelines.

·        Conduct regular inspections on fit-up, welding quality, and finished products.

·        Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize rework.

·        Monitor material usage, welding consumables, and report on production output, efficiency, and quality metrics.

·        Enforce strict safety standards and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.

Requirements:

·        Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in metal fabrication, with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.

·        Strong technical expertise in various welding processes (SMAW, GMAW/MIG, GTAW/TIG, FCAW).

·        Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.

·        Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
