Responsibilities

Vendor Performance & Governance

Monitor and drive vendor performance metrics, with a strong focus on Quality, On-Time Delivery (OTD), and responsiveness.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors that meet the required technical and infrastructure standards for semiconductor equipment manufacturing.

Strategic Sourcing & Commodity Management

Manage the end-to-end sourcing process for assigned commodities, focusing on pricing, vendor selection, lead time, and production capacity.

Perform cost analysis, benchmarking, and cost-breakdown exercises to support cost-reduction initiatives and optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Monitor and validate supplier manufacturing capacity to ensure alignment with production requirements, load balancing, and business growth forecasts.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Operational Execution

Collaborate closely with Buyers and cross-functional supply chain stakeholders to ensure sourcing strategies are operationally executable.

Maintain accurate sourcing master data, including pricing, lead time, and vendor codes, to support smooth PR-to-PO conversion processes.

Serve as the escalation point for vendor-related issues that exceed normal transactional handling by the Buyer team.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical discipline.

1–2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management, preferably within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.

Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in technical sourcing are encouraged to apply.

Analytical & Technical Competencies

Strong analytical ability to interpret spend data, lead times, and capacity models to identify trends, risks, and supply chain opportunities.

Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools to convert complex data into actionable business insights.

Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings, or demonstrate strong aptitude to learn quickly.

Capability to assess and align vendor manufacturing capabilities with product technical requirements.

Software & Data Proficiency

Advanced proficiency in analytical and reporting tools such as Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables), Power BI, or Tableau for handling large datasets and report automation
