Our client is seeking a Site Electrical Engineer to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

Overseeing On-Site Electrical Works: Taking full ownership of all on-site electrical installation activities, ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Stakeholder Coordination: Working closely with electrical subcontractors, consultants, clients, and relevant authorities to keep all parties aligned and projects running smoothly.

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensuring all electrical works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and the master construction schedule, so nothing falls through the cracks.

Technical Document Review: Reviewing and endorsing shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and as-built drawings to maintain accuracy and project integrity.

Performance Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on subcontractor performance, workmanship quality, and adherence to site safety requirements to uphold the highest standards on site.

Inspections & Commissioning: Conducting thorough inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure everything is delivered right the first time.

Problem Solving: Proactively identifying and resolving technical issues to keep the project on track and ensure timely completion.

Reporting & Communication: Attending site meetings and providing regular, clear progress updates to the Project Manager to support informed decision-making.

Who are they looking for?

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore) is essential.

Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Singapore codes, regulations, and authority submission processes is important to ensure full compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant electrical engineer experience in building and construction (M&E) projects, preferably with a main contractor or A1/A2 contractor.

Adaptability in a Site Environment: Comfort and effectiveness working in a fast-paced construction site environment will be key to succeeding in this role.

Other Information:

Working Day: Alternating 5–6–5–6 work week. One week will be Monday to Friday (8:00am–5:00pm), and the following week will be Monday to Saturday (8:00am–5:00pm)

Site Location: Changi

Salary: $4800 - $7000
