Job Summary
You will be part of the Marketing and Communications team, and be responsible for planning and managing the Marketing and Communications initiatives for Thomson Medical Group, Thomson Medical Pte Ltd and its associated subsidiaries.
Responsibilities
Brand & Corporate Positioning
Uphold and strengthen the organization’s corporate profile and brand identity across all touchpoints.
Ensure consistent and appropriate use of corporate identity elements internally and externally.
Identify opportunities to enhance brand equity and positioning in the healthcare landscape.
Media Relations & Public Communications
Lead and drive media relations strategy, including planning and execution of media briefings, interviews, and events to secure positive coverage.
Manage external public relations and communications agencies, providing strategic direction on:
o Messaging, positioning, and narrative development,
o Integrated communications plans (internal and external),
o Media content creation and storytelling and
o Media monitoring, opportunities, and risk/issues management.
Crisis Communications & Reputation Management
Develop and manage crisis communications protocols.
Lead response during crisis situations, working closely with internal stakeholders and media to mitigate reputational risks.
Internal Communications
Drive internal communications strategy to ensure alignment and engagement across the organization.
Draft key communications including staff circulars, leadership messages, and C-suite correspondence.
Marketing Campaigns & Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage team member/s to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
Oversee end-to-end campaign lifecycle—from strategy and planning to execution, optimisation, and post-campaign analysis.
Ensure campaigns are aligned with business priorities, patient acquisition goals, and service line growth.
Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and leadership teams to deliver impactful campaigns.
Performance Marketing & Digital Growth
Develop and drive performance marketing strategies across key digital channels (e.g. search, social, display, programmatic).
Optimise campaigns to achieve acquisition, conversion, and ROI targets through data-driven decision-making.
Oversee media planning, budget allocation, and agency performance to maximise marketing effectiveness.
Analyse campaign performance metrics (e.g. CPC, CPA, conversion rates, ROI) and continuously refine strategies.
Leverage marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools to improve targeting, attribution, and customer journey outcomes.
Investor Relations & Corporate Reporting
Support corporate communications and investor relations efforts, including development of:
o Corporate presentations and factsheets
o Press releases and website content
o Annual, sustainability, and financial reports
Customer Engagement & Feedback Management
Oversee public-facing feedback channels and ensure timely, professional responses to customer feedback to uphold brand reputation.
Events & Stakeholder Engagement
Plan, manage, and execute corporate events, media events, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Ensure events are aligned with brand positioning and deliver strong engagement outcomes.
Data Protection & Governance
Support and advise on Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) compliance within marketing and communications activities.
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure data protection considerations are embedded in campaigns and communications.
Serve as the department’s representative for data protection matters; prior experience as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) or supporting DPO functions will be an advantage.
Integrate data protection considerations into crisis communications protocols where relevant.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Communication Studies, English, Journalism, Public Relations, Business (Marketing) or any related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in corporate communications, public relations or marketing.
Minimum 3 years of experience in managing or leading a team and/or agencies.
Experience in the healthcare sector, is desired, but not necessary.
Excellent command of the English language with strong writing, speaking and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with strong critical thinking and project management skills.
Energetic, driven, adaptable, has good initiative and is able to multi-task and cope well when working under pressure and against tight timelines.
Meticulous with details and able to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Experienced in media relations with strong media contacts.
Committed team player and leader with good leadership skills.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with different levels of staff within and across institutions.
C-suite presentation skills.
