About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Senior Assistant Manager to join the Medical Board Office. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure effective governance, compliance, and coordination across key medical divisions and functions within the hospital. He/she will also oversee compliance with institutional policies, professional standards and administrative support for the privileging committee.
Some of the Key Responsibilities include:
Support the Senior Manager in the administration of Medical Board Meetings, including agenda drafting, collation of papers, minute taking and follow-up on action items
Evaluate vendor sponsorships and external appointments are aligned with institution policies and timely identify risk factors
Coordinate review and endorsement of institution-vendor agreements with Legal
Coordinate cluster or institution submissions for Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Clinical)
Support the Senior Manager to oversee governance and administrative processes for the Credentialing and Clinical Privileging Committee
Perform timely accurate database/system updates
Support ad hoc new initiatives and projects
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Social Science, or relevant field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare administration is an added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS and other M365 tools
Strong policy drafting, report writing and documentation skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proactive team player
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, complex public healthcare environment
High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
