Deskripsi pekerjaan Senior Accountant (International Entities) Pale Blue Dot AI Pte. Ltd.
Position Summary
We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Accountant to manage the financial operations and compliance for our international subsidiaries, with a core focus on Singapore (SG) and the United States (US). This role is designed for a technical accounting expert who acts as a "process architect"—someone who can bridge the gap between local statutory requirements and group-level reporting through automation, advanced Excel modeling, and a passion for AI-driven efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. International Accounting & Consolidation
Manage the full set of accounts for overseas entities (SG, US, and others), ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.
Perform multi-currency reconciliations and manage foreign exchange (FX) gain/loss reporting across various jurisdictions.
Oversee intercompany transactions, ensuring all balances are reconciled and eliminated at the group level.
Monitor Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and maintain fixed asset registers, specifically for hardware infrastructure and data center operational costs.
2. Regulatory & Tax Compliance
Singapore: Lead the preparation of GST filings, ECI (Estimated Chargeable Income), and annual statutory filings with ACRA.
United States: Coordinate Federal and State corporate tax compliance, Sales & Use Tax nexus assessments, and related filing requirements.
Transfer Pricing: Support the implementation of Transfer Pricing documentation and ensure intercompany service agreements are properly accounted for.
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors (e.g., Big 4) and tax consultants to ensure successful completion of annual audits.
3. Systems, Automation & AI Integration
ERP Optimization: Drive the automation of financial processes within the ERP system (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) to improve reporting speed and data integrity.
Advanced Manual Modeling: Design and maintain sophisticated manual models in Excel (using Power Query, complex formulas, etc.) to handle calculations or data sets that fall outside standard ERP workflows.
AI Enthusiast: Proactively explore and implement AI-powered tools (e.g., LLMs for document review, automated data extraction, or AI-assisted reconciliations) to streamline repetitive finance tasks and increase productivity.
Identify bottlenecks in the reporting cycle and develop scalable solutions to reduce "Time to Close."
Requirements & Qualifications
1. Experience: 3–5+ years of accounting experience. Experience in a Regional/Group Accounting role or a Big 4 Audit background is highly preferred.
2. Industry Knowledge: Experience in Technology, Cloud Infrastructure, or high-growth sectors is a significant advantage.
3. Professional Certification: Must hold a CPA (US/SG), ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
4. Technical Proficiency:
Deep understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and Singapore FRS.
Advanced Excel Power User: Mastery of complex functions to build robust manual workpapers when automated systems are unavailable.
Hands-on experience with global ERP systems.
5. AI & Innovation Mindset: A genuine passion for AI and emerging technologies; ability to demonstrate how you have used tech/AI to improve work efficiency.
6. Communication: Excellent command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus for coordinating with the Beijing office and global headquarters.
7. Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a multi-timezone environment (Singapore/US).
