Marketing Manager – Key Responsibilities
HANDEP is an Indigenous-led social enterprise working with artisans and smallholders to build a sustainable, inclusive village economy. We create premium crafts and forest-based products rooted in cultural heritage and environmental values.
The Marketing Manager leads HANDEP’s marketing strategy across online and offline channels, oversees the e-commerce ecosystem, and manages a small creative and sales team. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and strong team leadership to drive both impact and revenue.
Digital & E-commerce Oversight
Oversee all online platforms: Shopee, Tokopedia, website, including daily operations, product listing, pricing updates, and coordination with Sales Associate for stock accuracy
Lead the website revamp process: structure, content flow, UI/UX coordination, and integration with inventory system
Optimize conversion rates and update platform visuals in collaboration with creative & content teams
Digital Advertising & Performance
Plan, run, and monitor Google Ads and Meta Ads for brand awareness and sales growth
Analyze ad performance and adjust targeting, copy, and budgets accordingly
Create monthly performance reports and evaluate ROI on all digital campaigns
Strategic Planning
Develop and execute marketing & sales strategies (monthly, quarterly, annual) that align with HANDEP’s business goals
Identify seasonal opportunities, product launch moments, and cross-collaboration campaigns (B2C & B2B)
Monitor trends, competitors, and customer behavior to inform creative direction and campaign timing
Team Management & Creative Supervision
Lead and manage a team of 3: Creative Officer, Content Creator, Sales Associate
Ensure content production and marketing materials meet brand standards and are delivered on time
Conduct weekly check-ins, assign clear deliverables, and give constructive feedback
Build a positive, deadline-driven, and collaborative working environment
Project Management
Translate strategic plans into timelines and Gantt charts to ensure projects stay on track
Manage internal project boards (Notion, Trello, or Sheets) for visibility and accountability
Work cross-functionally with Product Design, Sales, and Operations
Operational Support & Cross-Department Collaboration
Assist in tasks like stock opname, shipping coordination, booth/event logistics, especially during peak campaigns or pop-ups
Support the planning and execution of offline events, bazaars, and collaborations
Align with Finance for budget planning, paid campaign tracking, and invoice follow-up
Brand Growth & Relationship Management
Maintain and grow HANDEP’s presence on social media in partnership with content team
Seek strategic brand collaborations and community partnerships aligned with HANDEP’s values
Oversee customer retention strategy (email marketing, WhatsApp marketing, feedback collection)
