Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

•Program Development: create, schedule, and implement diverse recreational activities, social gatherings, and fitness programs suited to the demographics of the facility.

•Staff Leadership: recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff, volunteers, or instructors to ensure high-quality service and safe operations.

•Facility & Inventory Management: Inspect, maintain, and ensure the safety of recreational facilities (e.g., pools, community centers) and equipment, including ordering necessary supplies.

•Budgeting & Administration: Manage the recreation department budget, including generating revenue, tracking expenses, preparing reports, and managing vendor contracts.

•Customer Service: Actively engage with guests/residents to encourage participation, address concerns, and provide exceptional experiences.

•Marketing & Promotion: Promote events and activities through marketing efforts to encourage participation.

Qualifications

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

•Proven track record in planning, implementing, and overseeing recreational programs and activities

•Experience managing budgets and controlling operational costs

•Strong leadership and people management skills with proven ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
