Job Description

Organize and deploy in-house inspectors to carry out progressive inspections and establish quality benchmarks.

Perform checks on the structural, architectural and M&E materials/works to ensure that the final touch-up works are ready for inspections.

Lead the preparation of CONQUAS/QM documentation and coordinate with BCA on pre-assessment quality meetings.

Execute quality control as per site specific materials and Works Quality Plan.

Prepare relevant QA/QC reports

Attend regular site meetings – QAQC, Site Inspections and Client Meeting

Assist in yearly ISO audits

Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements (in accordance to BCA’s Good Industry Practice)

Guide site teams in conducting internal quality checks and rectification works prior to formal assessments by consultants, clients, and authorities.

Monitor the performance of subcontractor workers for all trades and ensure any defects are properly rectified

Ensure all the method statement used has obtained approval from the clients and consultants.

Identify quality-related training needs and initiate training programs for staff and subcontractors.

Requirements

Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Additional certification in QA/QC is an added advantage

At least 8 TO 10 years of QA/QC experience is required related to Singapore Civil construction industry.

Hands-on experience in precast works on Singapore projects.

Familiarity with quality standards and testing methods for concrete products.

Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
