Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and technically competent Project Manager to lead our infrastructure projects involving Road, Drainage, and Sewerage works. The ideal candidate must be familiar with LTA and PUB
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Delivery
- Lead the overall project lifecycle from site possession to handover, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Manage daily site operations for project which involve road works (trenching, paving, diversions), drain construction (U-drains, box culverts).
- Managing a group of project team including engineers and supervisors.
- Overall reporting to the Project Director.
2. Regulatory & Authority Liaison
- Coordinate directly with LTA, PUB, NPARKS, and NEA for permit applications (e.g., LTA.PROMPT, TOP, CSC).
- Ensure full compliance with the Street Works Act and Sewerage & Drainage Act.
- Work with Qualified Persons (QP) and PE to resolve technical design issues and obtain authority clearances.
3. Safety & Stakeholder Management
- Champion site safety as the PM, ensuring compliance with MOM regulations and WSH acts as well as environmental aspect.
- Manage external stakeholders, including public feedback/complaints regarding drainage works or construction noise.
- Liaise with utility agencies (SP Group, SingTel, NetLink Trust etc) for underground cable detection and protection.
4. Contract & Cost Control
- Administer contracts under PSSCOC (Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract).
- Oversee progress claims, monitor project cash flow, and justify Variation Orders (VOs) where necessary.
5. Others
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultant and sub-contractors
- Handle ad-hoc tasks and project-related assignments as and when required
Job Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-graduate working experience in Singapore infrastructure projects (specifically Roads, Drains, and Sewers).
- Certification: Valid Construction Safety Course for Project Managers (CSCPM) / WSQ Manage Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites.
