Job Summary
Lead and manage all electrical works execution, ensuring compliance with specifications, timely completion, budget control, and strong client relationships for successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate electrical work costings to ensure budget alignment and cost-effectiveness
- Review and verify shop drawings for compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements before submission
- Liaise and conduct meetings with clients and consultants to resolve technical issues, clarify requirements, and facilitate inspections and submissions
- Serve as the primary contact for all electrical-related matters, providing clear communication and issue resolution
- Attend weekly site meetings to coordinate project progress and address challenges
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to meet and exceed client expectations
- Manage, coordinate, and supervise workers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure proper execution and high-quality workmanship
- Plan, implement, and track work progress, submitting weekly progress reports to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor project costs including variations and prepare supporting documentation for cost control
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation for all electrical works
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and successful handover to clients
- Follow safety procedures, rules, and regulations to eliminate or reduce workplace hazards and ensure a safe working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project and company objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical works execution and project management
- Proficient knowledge of installation of M&E services and builder’s works
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player
- Proactive approach with the ability to take initiative in problem-solving and project execution
- Skilled in negotiation to manage vendors and subcontractors effectively
- Proficient in PC literacy, including MS Office applications
