Job Description:
Inventory Control & Production Strategy: Manage stock levels for raw and packaging materials while evaluating production system flexibility and data flow between PPIC and Manufacturing.
Material Readiness: Ensure the availability and accuracy of safety stocks, Bills of Materials, and inventory information systems.
End-to-End Inventory Management: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline the import and export processes balancing warehouse capacity, Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) strategies.
Master Scheduling (MPS): Develop production schedules that maintain material stocks at optimum, cost-effective levels.
WIP & Progress Monitoring: Optimize Work-In-Process levels and track production progress across all manufacturing stages.
Stock Audits & Analysis: Perform periodic stock takes and inventory analysis to ensure data accuracy and maintain lean stock levels.
Budget & Efficiency Management: Prepare warehouse budgets and oversee operational efficiency to stay within allocated costs.
Handling logistics for the arrival of imported materials and machinery.
Issuing Purchase Orders (PO) for materials to local and overseas suppliers.
Processing supplier invoices into SAP.
Requirement:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Excellent English skills both oral and written is a must, able to speak and writing in Korean is a plus.
Minimum 2 years in manufacturing, production planning, or inventory control roles.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables), ERP systems proficiency, and understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
Knowledge of production scheduling, demand forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory control (FIFO/LIFO).
Analytical thinking, detail-oriented, strong communication, ability to work under pressure, and leadership (for supervisor roles).
