Role Overview
The Production & Logistics Planner is responsible for forecasting, planning, and coordinating production and delivery activities to ensure optimal output and timely distribution of soy milk and soy-based products. This role aligns production volumes with sales trends, demand patterns, inventory levels, manpower capacity, storage availability, and delivery schedules to ensure smooth and cost-efficient operations.
Current location at Paya Lebar, candidate should be willing to relocate to 14 Senoko Way(Near Sembawang) at the end of Q2 2026 and work 5.5 days (Saturday) per week.
Key Responsibilities
1. Demand Forecasting & Production Planning
Analyze sales data, historical trends, and demand patterns to forecast production requirements.
Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans for soy milk and soy products.
Align production schedules with manpower capacity and operational constraints.
Adjust plans proactively based on demand fluctuations or operational changes.
2. Capacity & Resource Planning
Assess production capacity, manpower availability, and equipment utilization.
Identify potential bottlenecks and recommend solutions to maintain workflow efficiency.
Ensure optimal use of resources to minimize waste and downtime.
3. Inventory & Raw Material Coordination
Coordinate with the Inventory / Procurement team to ensure sufficient raw materials, packaging, and supplies.
Monitor material consumption rates and anticipate replenishment requirements.
Prevent stock shortages or excess inventory holding.
4. Warehouse & Storage Coordination
Work closely with the Warehouse team to align production output with storage capacity.
Plan stock movement to ensure proper storage, FIFO practices, and smooth dispatch.
5. Delivery & Driver Team Management
Manage and coordinate the driver team to support daily delivery operations.
Plan and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
Prepare driver work schedules based on delivery volume and priority.
Monitor delivery workload distribution and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Calculate and verify driver overtime (OT), incentives, and commission accurately.
Ensure delivery operations are aligned with production output and customer requirements.
6. Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Track production and delivery performance against plan.
Analyze variances and implement corrective measures.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, cost control, and service levels.
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
Experience in production planning, logistics coordination, or manufacturing operations preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or planning systems.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
