We are looking for a skilled PBX Engineer to design, develop, and maintain large-scale telephony systems that support call center operations and AI-driven voice communication.

In this role, you will work with Asterisk, Kamailio, and Python to build reliable, scalable, and high-availability communication infrastructure capable of handling real-time voice traffic with high performance and stability.

Job Responsibilities

PBX & SIP Infrastructure

Design, develop, and maintain PBX systems using Asterisk

Configure and manage SIP routing using Kamailio or OpenSIPS

Build high-availability telephony architectures (Active-Active / Active-Standby)

Optimize RTP/media traffic handling and system scalability

Ensure system reliability and performance for large-scale concurrent calls

Call Flow & Backend Development

Develop call control logic and APIs using Python

Integrate systems through ARI / AMI / AGI

Design and implement IVR, call routing, queue handling, recording, and transfer features

Handle real-time call events and event-driven communication systems

System Operations & Monitoring

Monitor call quality, latency, jitter, and packet loss

Troubleshoot and resolve real-time communication issues

Implement logging, monitoring, and tracing systems

Perform system maintenance, scaling, and performance optimization

Client & Platform Integration

Integrate telephony systems with mobile and desktop applications

Support SIP clients and WebRTC connectivity

Improve voice communication quality and system stability

Requirements

Must Have

Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, and VoIP protocols

Hands-on experience with Asterisk

Experience with Kamailio or OpenSIPS

Experience in Linux server environments

Backend development experience using Python

Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, NAT, firewall)

Nice to Have

Experience with WebRTC

Experience with ARI / AMI / AGI

Experience with FreeSWITCH

Experience with AWS or GCP

Familiar with Docker or Kubernetes

Experience in telecom or call center systems

Experience with real-time or low-latency systems
