Job Description:

Lead and manage the overall execution of MEP works for data centre design and build projects from design development through commissioning and final handover.

Develop project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies to ensure timely project completion.

Monitor project progress, budget, productivity, and overall performance to achieve project objectives.

Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation plans to minimise delays and cost overruns.

Coordinate closely with consultants, engineers, clients, and internal teams to ensure MEP designs comply with project requirements, Singapore regulations, and data centre standards.

Review and manage MEP design drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and shop drawings.

Manage MEP subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered according to contractual and project requirements.

Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of critical MEP systems including:

HVAC & Cooling Systems

Electrical Power Distribution

UPS Systems

Generators

Fire Protection Systems

Building Management Systems (BMS)

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, workplace safety regulations, and project specifications.

Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with Singapore statutory requirements, safety regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in construction, electrical engineering, or MEP project management, preferably within the construction industry.

Proven experience managing MEP works in design and build projects, preferably in data centre or mission-critical facilities.

Strong technical knowledge of:

HVAC Systems

Electrical Distribution Systems

UPS & Backup Power Systems

Cooling Systems

Fire Protection Systems

Building Management Systems (BMS)

Strong project management, coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work effectively under tight project timelines.

Familiarity with Singapore codes, regulations, and safety standards will be an added advantage.
