Acting as the key interface between Bentley Motors and the retailer network, the Sales Manager ensures sales targets are achieved and exceeded, while driving alignment of commercial, product and market objectives. The role also supports cross-functional coordination to ensure the effective execution of sales, product and marketing strategies, contributing to the region’s overall growth and brand positioning.
Regional Sales Operations Management
Conduct regular dealer visits to maintain strong relationships and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual retail targets.
Manage retail performance by dealer, supporting lead conversion, incentive programmes, and sales funnel metrics.
Optimise model and option mix to drive options revenue and align product availability with sales objectives.
Oversee stock and aged inventory management, retailer transfers, and year-end closing positions.
Lead weekly forecasting and sales mix reviews, aligning market inputs into the regional sales plan.
Ensure dealer adherence to order schedules, timely wholesale payments, and participation in the retailer contract and PWR processes.
Support pricing and volume planning, contributing to market competitiveness and profitability.
Collaborate on development of Bentley Financial Services offers and Certified Pre-Owned programmes to expand revenue streams.
Act as key sales counterpart between Bentley Motors Asia Pacific and regional retailers.
Cross-Functional Alignment
Act as a key member of the cross-functional Operations Team to ensure alignment of objectives and effective market steering.
Collaborate with the CXM Specialist to maintain accurate lead funnel data and drive markets through the demand-generation process.
Partner with Marketing and Product teams on event execution, performance measurement, and readiness for new product launches.
Serve as the regional link between Sales and Product, consolidating market feedback and product performance insights for central teams.
Contribute to regional conferences and retailer events to reinforce alignment and capability across the network.
Network Development Management
Support in steering action fulfilment of Brand Standards open actions (sales) as well as to derive action plans with retailers in maintaining Brand Standards requirements.
Support the Network Qualification Manager in identifying and coordinating training needs, ensuring completion of all requirements.
Strategic Sales Development and Planning
Identify and raise strategic challenges and opportunities through established forums such as Regional Operations Meetings.
Support development of strategic sales initiatives and long-range plans to drive market growth and expansion.
Contribute to Planning Round activities, ensuring volume, product and pricing plans align with regional objectives.
Engage retailers to align on strategic vision and steer market growth initiatives.
Analyse competitive product and pricing environments, proposing countermeasures and optimisation opportunities.
Partner with Finance and Product Planning to assess pricing, profitability, and derivative mix to strengthen Bentley’s market position.
Additional Projects
Proactively identify and lead projects (not limited to sales) contributing to the strategic growth along the Beyond100+ Strategy.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant sales management experience in the automative industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Able to travel up to 50% across the region to support this regional role.
