• To ensure legal compliance for all activities within assigned area of responsibility.
• To ensure a safe and healthy work environment within assigned area of responsibility.

• Ensure legal compliance for all activities within relevant regulatory framework and PaxOcean's HSE Management System.
• Support HSE Manager to implement and execute HSE Programs & Initiatives.
• Plan, conduct and participate in audits to identify potential areas of improvement and best practices.
• Organise and conduct regular HSE site inspections with all relevant stakeholders and follow up on all identified non-conformances.
• Function as a safety assessor as per relevant regulatory requirements.
• Function as a Site Incident Controller (SIC) and lead the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) during emergency situations.
• To serve as secretary for the Vessel Safety Coordination Committee (VSCC) for all assigned projects.
• Initiate and conduct investigation for the purpose of identifying root causes upon any occurrences.
• Liaise with relevant authorities as point of contact representing PaxOcean.
• Any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by HSE Head.

• Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skill
• Ability to lead and take charge of a small group
• Experience in marine related emergency response skills set will be an added advantage
• Computer literate
• Ability to perform shift works
