Job Description:
- Manage and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems and equipment within the facility.
- Ensure smooth operation of electrical infrastructure including LV systems, switchboards, transformers, UPS, generators, lighting, and emergency power systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and fault rectification for electrical systems.
- Support day-to-day facilities operations and respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergencies.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors to ensure works are completed safely and according to specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain proper documentation, maintenance records, and statutory inspection reports.
- Support fit-out works, upgrading projects, and improvement initiatives.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for operational reliability and energy efficiency.
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and permit-to-work activities.
- Assist in budgeting, procurement, and cost control for maintenance and project activities.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external authorities when required.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with building electrical systems and troubleshooting works.
- Familiarity with CMMS/BMS systems is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Good knowledge of electrical safety and regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and handle emergency situations when required.
