Responsibilities include:

Collaborating with other educators to implement best practices and provide respectful, nurturing care to children aged 18 months to 6 years.

Creating an emergent curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and aligned with our Reggio Emilia-inspired pedagogy.

Lead parent communications in-person and via online platforms, displaying strong communication skills and providing a nurturing, cooperative approach to parent relationships in a multicultural community.

Ensure a clean, safe and enriching environment for children’s explorations

Engage in reflective practice using the planning and observation tools provided

Prepare documentation pieces for families and school environments, showcasing children’s learning and educators’ reflections

Coordinate parent events for festivals, exhibitions, field trips and parent volunteering opportunities

Parent events will take place termly in the evenings for celebrations and parent-teacher evenings, but these are pre-planned in the academic calendar, which runs from January to December.

Pre-Requisites:

A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

Or L1 or L2 Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education.

3 or more years of working experience with children under 6 yrs old is preferred.

Training or experience working within a Reggio Emilia-inspired context will be an advantage, but training will also be provided on the job.
