Job Summary
Alliance HSS is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Customer Support Officer to join our team. You will provide responsive and accurate customer service support, process orders and documentation, assist sales and service team with quotations, and collaborate across departments to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email and phone
Prepare and process sales orders, purchase orders, delivery orders, and related documentation accurately to support sales and service operations
Prepare detailed and accurate quotations to customers
Track and follow up on open orders or projects to ensure job progress meets scheduled timelines
Coordinate with service engineers on job allocation and manage travel, attendance, and submission of documentation and reports
Communicate product and service information clearly to customers
Provide customer support and collaborate with internal departments to address customer feedback and resolve issues efficiently
Work collaboratively with other departments to support company-wide objectives and customer satisfaction goals
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support smooth business operations
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma in Business Administration or any related field
Minimum 2 years of customer support experience, preferably in a marine industry-related setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines efficiently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of SAP Business One system will be advantageous
Other Information
Working location: Tuas
Working days/hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
