About the role

Thong Lee Container Service Pte. Ltd. is seeking a talented and customer-focused Customer Service (Import & Export) professional to join our rapidly growing team. This full-time role is based in our Jurong West office and will play a vital part in supporting our import and export customers.

What you'll be doing

Serving as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to import and export shipments

Processing and tracking import and export documentation

Coordinating with internal departments to ensure the timely and efficient movement

Providing updates and status reports to customers on the progress of their delivery

Identifying opportunities to improve customer service and recommend process improvements

Maintaining accurate records and data related to all import and export activities

What we're looking for

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or logistics role, preferably within the import/export industry

Strong knowledge of import and export procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively liaise with customers and colleagues

Proficiency in using relevant software and information systems for tracking and managing shipments

Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

A customer-centric mindset and a genuine passion for providing exceptional service
