Scope of Services / Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Project Accounting (Primary Scope)
Perform project/job costing, budgeting, and financial tracking using WorkflowMax
Prepare and process invoices, progress claims, and payment schedules
Maintain proper accounting records in Xero, including accounts receivable/payable and reconciliations
Monitor project cost performance, variances, and cash flow status
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities (accruals, reporting, cost allocation)
Ensure financial processes are aligned with contractual terms and conditions
2. Contract Administration (Secondary Scope)
Administer contracts, including tracking of deliverables, milestones, and variations
Maintain proper documentation and records of contractual and financial transactions
Support tender costing, price evaluation, and commercial submissions
Assist in managing claims, variations, and final account documentation
3. Digital Marketing & Business Support (Minor Role Scope)
Assist in execution of digital marketing campaigns (e.g., LinkedIn, Google Ads, EDMs)
Monitor and report marketing expenditure and campaign performance metrics
Support updates to website and marketing materials
Coordinate with external vendors/agencies where required
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing, or related discipline
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or commercial roles
Proficient in WorkflowMax (job costing, invoicing, reporting)
Basic in Xero Accounting (View only role)
Basic knowledge of digital marketing platforms and analytics tools(Linkledin marketing)
Good understanding of project-based financial management and cost control
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
Evaluation Criteria
Relevant experience in project accounting and financial management (35%)
Proficiency in WorkflowMax and Xero systems (20%)
Understanding of contract administration and commercial processes (20%)
Digital marketing knowledge and reporting capability (5%)
Overall competency, communication skills, and suitability (20%)
Additional Information
Experience in engineering, construction, or technical services environment will be an advantage
Candidates with experience supporting government or public sector projects preferred
