Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC) administers the Deposit Insurance Fund for the protection of insured depositors of full banks and finance companies in Singapore, and the Policy Owners’ Protection Fund for the protection of policy owners of insured policies of direct life and general insurers in Singapore.  SDIC is looking for a talented individual to fill the following PART-TIME position:-

COMMUNICATIONS AND DISCLOSURE COMPLIANCE EXECUTIVE

Key Responsibilities:

1.       PUBLIC EDUCATION

Attend to public queries received through phone and emails

Work with vendors in the development and execution of the annual public education programmes for the Policy Owners’ Protection Scheme and Deposit Insurance Scheme in order to raise public awareness. 

Drafting and updating contents for collaterals and website

2.       SCHEME MEMBER DISCLOSURE COMPLIANCE

Attend to Scheme member queries in relation to disclosure requirements 

Engage Scheme members to participate in public education programmes

Review materials of Scheme members to assess their compliance with disclosure requirements and follow up with Scheme members if necessary

Be the administrator of the payout communications interface system and assist in testing of system when needed

3.       PAYOUT COMMUNICATIONS

Develop or enhance payout communications plan including FAQs and media releases

Assist in training of outsourced call centre agents

Be the administrator of the payout communications interface system and assist in testing of system when needed

Requirements:

Diploma in Business, Communications or equivalent

At least 3 years’ experience in the insurance or banking industry

Good analytical skills

Strong spoken and writing skills

Please note that this is a Part-Time position. Working hours will be discussed between interested candidates and the hiring manager.
