What You'll Be Doing:
Prepare and scale ingredients accurately according to standardised recipes and production schedules
Mix, bake, and finish breads, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods to Mary Grace quality standards
Execute cake assembly, layering, filling, and crumb-coating to specification
Apply frostings, glazes, and decorative finishes with consistency and precision
Monitor oven temperatures, timings, and baking conditions throughout production
Maintain proper storage and labelling of raw ingredients, doughs, batters, and finished products
Uphold food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times
Keep the bakery station clean, organised, and production-ready at all times
What You Need:
Relevant bakery or pastry kitchen experience (level-dependent)
Solid foundation in baking techniques — dough handling, creaming, tempering, piping
Experience with cake decoration is an advantage
High attention to detail and pride in consistent, beautiful results
Ability to work early morning shifts, on weekends and Public Holidays and in a fast-paced production environment
Team player with a positive, learning-oriented mindset
