Job Description
We are seeking a Business Development Manager / Senior Manager (Asset Management) to drive growth of our MAS-licensed asset management ecosystem in Singapore. The role focuses on onboarding licensed fund management companies and asset managers, enabling them to distribute and publish investment strategies via an open platform, and managing the full end-to-end onboarding lifecycle.
This role sits within a fast-growing fintech and brokerage platform, supporting expansion of our institutional asset management and wealth management business in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with MAS-licensed asset management companies, fund managers, and institutional partners
Drive acquisition and onboarding of asset managers to list and distribute Discretionary Accounts (DA), collective investment schemes (CIS), and unit trust strategies
Manage full business development lifecycle, including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and contract execution
Coordinate with compliance, operations, product, and technology teams on due diligence, regulatory review, and system integration
Ensure successful strategy onboarding, platform listing, and post-launch operational support
Monitor Singapore asset management industry trends, MAS regulatory updates, and competitive landscape
Provide strategic insights to support platform growth and ecosystem development
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management, wealth management, fintech, or brokerage institutional sales / business development
Strong network within Singapore asset management / fund management industry preferred
Strong understanding of Discretionary Accounts (DA), collective investment schemes (CIS), unit trusts, and investment product structures
Familiarity with MAS regulatory framework and compliance requirements
Experience in financial products, fund distribution, or investment platform business development is highly advantageous
Strong negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills
Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented in a fast-paced environment
