For decades, we have been a trusted name in the tourism and souvenir gifting space, delighting locals and visitors alike with our signature Merlion-shaped treats. As we continue to grow, we are now expanding into the local Singapore retail and everyday confectionery market — and we are looking for a driven, commercially savvy individual to grow with us.
The Role
As our Business Development & Sales Executive, you will be the engine behind our commercial growth. You will manage existing accounts, develop new business opportunities across both the tourism and local retail channels, and play an active supporting role in product development to ensure our range stays relevant and competitive. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role that suits someone who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales and grow revenue across tourism retail, souvenir trade, local supermarkets, specialty food retailers, and corporate gifting channels
Identify, prospect, and onboard new B2B clients including retailers, distributors, hotels, attractions, and event organisers
Manage and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, reorder rates, and account growth
Support basic product development initiatives — providing market feedback, assisting in concept coordination between the sales and production team, and sourcing new confectionery product ideas aligned with market trends
Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate the local Singapore mass-market confectionery segment
Represent the brand at trade shows, food fairs, and industry networking events
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management
Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends to advise on positioning
What We're Looking For
Minimum of a Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant sales or business development experience in food, FMCG, confectionery, retail trade, or a closely related industry
Existing trade connections in Singapore's retail, tourism, hospitality, or food distribution space are a strong advantage
Experience dealing with supermarkets, convenience chains, specialty food retailers, or tourism/souvenir channels preferred
Comfortable working across both B2B and B2C environments
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
Basic understanding of product development processes or willingness to learn
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not mandatory — we value experience and results

Salary write $3500 - $4500 + Allowance + Commission
5 days work week 9-6pm
