About the role

Eighty One Coffee' is seeking experienced and passionate Baristas and Head Baristas to join our outlets all over Jabodetabek. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and leading a team of talented baristas.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and serve a wide variety of specialty coffee drinks to our customers

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the coffee preparation area

Provide excellent customer service 

For Head Barista: Train and mentor junior baristas to uphold our high quality standards

Monitor stock levels and liaise with management to ensure we are always well-stocked

Assist with café opening and closing procedures as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a professional Barista in a specialty coffee shop or cafe.

For Head Barista applicants: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Head Barista or leadership role is required.

Extensive knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, brewing techniques, and advanced barista skills.

Skilled in Latte Art with a creative flair and enthusiasm for developing innovative coffee-based beverages.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to work under pressure and maintain quality standards.

Strong Customer Service skills

Confident and customer-oriented with a presentable, well-groomed.

Basic English communication skills (verbal and written) are required.

Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills.

Attention to detail and high standards of hygiene.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills to lead and inspire a team of baristas to deliver consistent, high-quality coffee.

Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) for administrative and operational tasks.

Flexible with work placement and scheduling.
