About the role

Apple Tree Pre-School Modernland is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our dynamic team in Tangerang, Banten. In this full-time role, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children in our Pre-Nursery and Nursery programmes.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities

Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that supports the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children

Observe and monitor children's progress, documenting their learning and development

Engage children in one-on-one and small-group interactions to support their individual needs

Maintain a clean and organised classroom that is conducive to learning

Collaborate with the teaching team and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers

What we're looking for

A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Experience working with children in a pre-school or childcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Creativity and the ability to plan engaging and age-appropriate activities

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for nurturing young learners

Proficiency in the Indonesian language and English language skills are preferred
