Assistant Pre-School Teacher

We are looking for a caring, passionate and responsible Assistant Pre-School Teacher to support our teachers in providing a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children.

Job Responsibilities

Assist the Preschool Teacher in conducting daily classroom activities and lessons.

Support the care, supervision and safety of children at all times.

Prepare teaching materials and learning corners for classroom activities.

Assist children in daily routines such as meals, toileting and nap time.

Observe and monitor children’s behaviour and development.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the classroom environment.

Support centre events, celebrations and parent engagement activities.

Work closely with teachers and staff to ensure smooth classroom operations.

Ensure compliance with centre policies and ECDA regulations.

Job Requirements

Candidates with ECDA-recognised early childhood qualifications will have an advantage.

Must possess at least a CPT or Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education

ACEY/ L1/ L2 certified

Good command of spoken and written English

Must possess at least 5 GCE 'O' level credits including English Language (B4) a First Language.

Basic computer literacy

Minimum 1 year childcare/pre-school assisting teaching experience in Singapore

Passionate in working with young children.

Caring, patient and responsible personality.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work well in a team environment.

Basic classroom management skills preferred.

Relevant preschool working experience is an advantage.

Must be eligible to work in Singapore.

Singapore citizen
