As a Assistant Manager, Food Services, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Supervise and deploy staff for daily operations.

Ensure daily meal summaries and patient menu chits are generated from EMOS.

Oversee food dishing and tray assembly according to SOPs.

Ensure event catering is delivered as instructed by organisers.

Enforce compliance with SOPs and regulations (MUIS, ISO22000, MOH, WSH).

Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures twice daily; alert FM and activate BCP when required.

Provide adequate training for F&B Assistants.

Conduct random checks and approve monthly staff timesheets.

Support the Manager in daily food service operations, including meal assembly.

Prepare and submit monthly Food Service reports.

Monitor vendor contracts and maintain proper approvals, billing, and records.

Ensure all documentation and records are properly maintained.

Carry out duties and instructions assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

Degree Holder of discipline related to Food & Beverage Management / Hospitality/Nutrition.

Basic Food Hygiene certified.

Ability to understand and identify raw material (food) will be added advantage.

Knowledge in Electronic Meal Ordering System will be added advantage.

More than 5 years in supervisory or managerial role, preferably in hospital, upscale hotel, restaurant, or high-volume food service facility.

Experience in event/functions will be an advantage.
