Key Responsibilities:
Group Consolidation & Reporting: Perform group financial consolidation for multiple entities across different jurisdictions. Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing of the accounts. Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (CFRS/IFRS). Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide financial insights to support management's strategic decisions.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Manage and review the timely submission of quarterly GST returns and preparation of annual Corporate Tax filings. Liaise with external tax agents for tax computations of key subsidiaries and ensure adherence to local tax laws. Assist in the coordination with external auditors to ensure smooth year-end audit processes. Ensure all regulatory filings are met for property-holding and hospitality investment entities.
System & Process Enhancement Projects: Support the ERP system implementation and ongoing optimization projects. Identify opportunities for automation to streamline financial workflows and reporting cycles.
Financial Operations & Budgeting: Assist in the annual budgeting exercise and monthly forecasting for various business units. Monitor group cash flow and manage working capital requirements across hospitality and property assets.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a professional qualification like ACCA or Chartered Accountant (Singapore).
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to Group Consolidated and Tax in the Hospitality or Real Estate sectors.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and consolidated reporting tools
Sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting standards and tax regulations
High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skill, and possess the ability to work under tight reporting deadlines
