Job Summary
Manage accounting and administrative functions to support financial accuracy and operational efficiency in a professional lighting fixtures company.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain an efficient filing system for documents and records to ensure easy retrieval and compliance
- Execute accounts payable and receivable tasks, including preparing purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoicing to support financial operations
- Track customer payments and proactively follow up on outstanding receivables to maintain cash flow
- Prepare monthly aging reports to monitor overdue accounts and support credit control
- Generate monthly customer statements of account (SOA) to ensure accurate customer billing
- Assist with month-end and year-end account closing processes to support financial reporting
- Verify bill accuracy by matching invoices with purchase orders to prevent payment errors
- Liaise effectively with clients and suppliers to facilitate smooth business transactions
- Assist in ordering and allocating stock to maintain inventory levels and support sales
- Coordinate with freight forwarding companies for the transportation of goods by air, land, or sea to ensure timely delivery
- Support administrative duties, including proper filing of project documentation to maintain operational order
- Perform routine accounting and administrative activities following established organizational procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma/Advanced/Higher Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with accounting software (Autocount)

- Strong organizational skills demonstrated by managing document and record systems efficiently
- Effective communication skills applied in liaising with clients, suppliers, and freight forwarders
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently
