CR Consultancy Pte Ltd is a business consulting company that focus on accounting, tax, company secretary and HR/payroll services.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support our team in handling day-to-day accounting tasks. While this is a remote-based role, the intern may occasionally follow our staff to client offices for meetings and work documentation purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in recording supplier invoices, sales invoices, receipts, and payments into Xero or other accounting platforms.
Support the team in assigning correct account codes and GST tax rates.
Help with uploading, naming, and organizing supporting documents in cloud storage.
Perform basic reconciliations of bank accounts or balance sheet items under supervision.
Assist in preparing audit schedules and retrieving relevant documents when required.
Join staff in occasional visits to client offices for work meeting and documentation purposes.
Flag unclear or missing transactions for further review.
Provide general support in accounting and administrative tasks assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or related field in Singapore University.
Basic understanding of accounting concepts and Singapore GST is a plus.
Familiarity with Xero or other cloud accounting software is an advantage.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote setup.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
Comfortable with occasional travel for short client visits (transportation expenses covered).
