Job Responsibilities
Conduct audits on all daily revenue transactions to ensure consistency and methodology used is in compliance with hotel’s policies & procedures. This includes audit on rate variance and F&B void checks/items.
Compile and audit complimentary room, and employee stay records on daily basis
Verify General Cashier Report and cash recycling machine’s Daily Cash Report from general cashier.
Analyzes and monitors all administrative PM Folios for any interface posting discrepancy
Post verified adjustment entries into accounting system on daily basis.
Assist General Cashier in performing surprise audit on house floats, carpark complimentary tickets, vouchers, etc.
Verify upselling incentives, and commission payables for Rooms and F&B.
Identify and investigate any discrepancies or unusual transactions, including potential errors or fraudulent activities, and document findings for management review.
Communicate effectively with various departments and stakeholders
Prepare and submit daily and monthly reports on a timely basis.
Prepare month-end closing journal entries
To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned.
Education & Work Experience
Minimum 2 years of Income Audit experience in a high-volume hotel environment
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and internal control procedures
Strong analytical and communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge in hotel’s systems such as Opera, Infrasys, SunSystems preferred. Strong Excel skills are highly advantageous
Proactive, meticulous, and capable of maintaining high standards of integrity and confidentiality
