Company Overview Our client is an expanding organization managing operations in Singapore, encompassing both wholesale and retail entities. We are currently seeking a dedicated, hands-on Accounting Staff to support daily financial operations and ensure seamless coordination with external partners.

Job Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting tasks and provide comprehensive accounting support for both the wholesale and retail entities.

Liaise and coordinate effectively with an external accounting firm to facilitate smooth monthly and annual closing processes.

Organize and meticulously maintain all accounting records, documents, and receipts.

Process payments accurately and handle necessary bank transfers.

Monitor, manage, and report on the company's cash flow.

Communicate regularly with the Japan Headquarters regarding financial matters (communication in English, or with the assistance of an interpreter, is fully supported).

Requirements

2 to 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in accounting operations.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and journal entries.

Highly detail-oriented professional capable of independently managing day-to-day tasks.

Ability to communicate in English; candidates who require translation support for communicating with Japan HQ are also welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior accounting experience within the retail industry is highly advantageous.

Previous experience working in an accounting firm.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment within small or growing organizations.

Demonstrated capability in managing accounting for multiple corporate entities simultaneously.

Employment Details

Salary Range: SGD 3,000 – SGD 3,900 / month (Commensurate with experience)

Location: Tanjong Pagar (3-minute walk from MRT station)
