TomoDigital is a Singapore-based digital marketing agency specialising in SEO and Google Ads. Since 2014, we’ve helped businesses improve their visibility on Google, generate more leads, and grow revenue through strategic digital marketing campaigns. Our team works across Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia, and we’re looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to support the websites behind our campaigns.
About the Role
- This is not an SEO strategy role. You do not need to do keyword research, write content, plan campaigns, or manage rankings.
- Your role is to support our SEO, SEM, account management, and creative teams by building, modifying, troubleshooting, and maintaining client WordPress websites.
- Most of our work involves custom WordPress sites using ACF Pro, WooCommerce, landing pages, technical fixes, website deployments, and Figma-to-WordPress builds.
- We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of development tasks from start to finish, test their own work, and deliver complete solutions without constant supervision.
Important Fit Note
- This role requires hands-on experience with ACF Pro and custom WordPress theme development.
- Candidates who only have experience with Elementor, page builders, template editing, or basic WordPress content updates are not suitable.
- We are looking for someone who can build, troubleshoot, deploy, and maintain custom WordPress websites independently.
What You’ll Do
- Build, edit, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Work on custom WordPress themes built with ACF Pro.
- Convert Figma designs into responsive WordPress pages and full websites.
- Create reusable ACF Pro components and content modules.
- Build landing pages for SEO, SEM, and marketing campaigns.
- Add and customise website sections such as FAQs, review sections, author profiles, CTA blocks, and other custom components.
- Manage and customise WooCommerce websites.
- Fix technical website issues such as page speed, redirects, caching problems, broken layouts, and mobile responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, PHP compatibility issues, WordPress errors, hosting issues, DNS, SSL, CDN, and server-related problems.
- Identify and remove malware infections.
- Recover and repair broken WordPress websites.
- Access client hosting environments and deploy updates safely to staging and production.
- Perform quality assurance testing before handing over completed work.

- Completed work means the task is properly built, responsive, tested on major screen sizes, checked for layout issues, deployed safely, and handed over with clear notes on what was changed.

What We’re Looking For
- We’re looking for someone reliable, independent, and technically strong.
- You should be able to work without micromanagement, troubleshoot problems independently, communicate clearly, and take ownership of your work until it is properly completed.
- You are a good fit if you are organised, detail-oriented, resourceful, and careful with client websites. You should be comfortable identifying missing information, asking the right questions early, and recommending practical technical solutions when needed.
- This role is not suitable for a junior developer, someone who does sloppy development work, or someone who needs constant guidance on how to complete development tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK.
- Work experience: 3 to 5 years of WordPress development experience.
- Strong experience with WordPress, ACF Pro, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WooCommerce, custom WordPress themes, responsive development, and Figma-to-WordPress development.
- Experience with plugin troubleshooting, website deployment, hosting/server troubleshooting, website security, and malware cleanup.
- Able to communicate, read, and write in English clearly.
- Portfolio with at least 3 WordPress websites you have personally built or substantially contributed to.
Formal education is not the main requirement. Candidates will be assessed based on experience, portfolio, technical assessment, and ability to complete real development work independently.
Strong Advantage
- Experience with custom WooCommerce builds.
- Experience with malware cleanup and hacked website recovery.
- Experience with hosting, cPanel, FTP/SFTP, DNS, SSL, CDN, and server troubleshooting.
- Experience with Core Web Vitals and website speed optimisation.
- Experience using Git or version control.
- Experience with staging-to-production deployment workflows.
- Experience working in an agency, freelance, or multi-client environment.
