Your Role
You'll own the full delivery of client engagements — from the first discovery questions all the way to a live Astro website.
That means understanding the client's business and buyers, structuring the homepage strategy, writing the blueprint, and building the final site. You'll be trained on every part of this process and supported by clear systems and AI tools.
The goal over time is that you run engagements end-to-end independently, and grow into a lead consultant role.
What You'll Do
- Draft and send discovery documents to clients; synthesise their responses before working sessions
- Review client homepages and identify decision friction — unclear positioning, weak proof, confusing structure
- Extract voice-of-customer language from Google Reviews, sales notes, and client transcripts
- Analyse Google Search Console data to understand what the blueprint must protect SEO-wise
- Structure homepage blueprints section by section in FigJam — what to say, in what order, and why
- Build and launch client websites using Astro and HTML/CSS
- Use AI tools (including Claude) to accelerate research, drafting, and QA at every stage
- Handle client communication professionally throughout each engagement
What we'll train you on
- The HockWorks methodology — how to diagnose homepage problems and structure a conversion-led blueprint
- Astro — how to build and deploy client sites using our existing setup and templates
- AI-assisted workflows — how to use Claude and other tools to do better work, faster
- SEO basics — enough to protect what's already working when changes go live
Who this is for
- Fresh graduate or up to 2 years experience — marketing, communications, psychology, computer science, or similar
- Strong written English — clear, direct, no filler
- Comfortable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Astro or genuinely willing to learn quickly
- Curious about why people make decisions — and why some websites work while others don't
- Can manage your own time and work independently without being micromanaged
- Takes feedback well and cares about the quality of what you ship
- Use AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT (Subscriptions will be provided)
This is probably not for you if
- You want a role that's purely design, purely writing, or purely code
- You need a highly structured environment where everything is defined upfront
- You're not comfortable picking up new tools on the job
- You're looking for a large team or an agency environment
